Mission Statement

The owners of Running Zone, Don and Denise Piercy, have organized numerous running and walking events in Brevard County since 2003 and have donated proceeds from these events to various non profit organizations. 

In September 2008, Don and Denise established the Running Zone Foundation, Inc. to formalize their commitment to health and fitness programs in our community. 

The Foundation was established as a 501 (c) (3) organization with the purpose of promoting exercise and fitness in our community. 

The Foundation’s charter is to promote and encourage health and fitness in our community through running, jogging, walking and related educational programs and publications.  

Help Support the Foundation

As an individual, participating in a Foundation event is a fun way to improve your fitness level and to give back to the community at the same time.  As an owner or manager of a business, there are partnership opportunities to get involved with our Foundation.

Foundation Events

Currently, all of the Running Zone Race Series races and the Space Coast Marathon & Half Marathon are events of the Running Zone Foundation, Inc.
