12th Annual Sister Run 5K Run/Walk - Sept. 11, 2010
The Space Coast Ovarian/Gynecologic Cancer Alliance is hosting the 12th Annual Sister Run 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, Sept. 11th at Windover Farms in Melbourne. The race winds through the beautiful Windover Farms subdivision.

As part of the Health First Triathlon Family weekend, the Salty Dog Kids’ Duathlon is for kids 6 – 12 years old that want to compete in a multi-sport event with a fun pirate theme! The event will be held at the Eau Gallie Civic Center. The 6-9 year old division starts at 9:30 am followed by the 10-12 year old division immediately afterwards.
- 6 - 9 Yrs. 400M RUN - 2 MILE BIKE - 800M RUN
- 10 - 12 Yrs. 800M RUN - 4 MILE BIKE - 1 MILE RUN
- Pirate Medals for all Finishers

Health First Health Plans and Running Zone Foundation welcome you to the 6th annual Running Zone Foundation Race Series. This year’s Series offers six fun and family-friendly events including four 5Ks; one 3K and a 2-miler. We offer these shorter distances to promote participation among both walkers and runners of all ages and abilities.
Fun Runs & Walks From Running Zone - Thursday Evenings
Join us for a 30 - 45 minute walk or run through Wickham Park on Thursday evenings from Running Zone. Drinks are provided. We will also have a Pizza Party on the last Thursday of each month with lots of giveaways as well.

Group Runs/Walks with distances of 4 miles to 14 miles with water drops at mile 2 and 4. (a 7 mile out and back course) Meet at Riverfront Park at 6:30 am on the north end of the park near the restrooms. (400 Delannoy Ave) Come early and stretch as the group will start promptly at 6:30 am. If you know someone who doesn't run please encourage them to come and walk. The course heads north on Indian River Drive. Fluids will be available until 8:30 am.

The Port St. John Running and Walking Group meets Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 5:30 am at Fay Lake Wilderness Park. The Park is the far west end of Fay Blvd.
There are typically 2 groups, one faster at 8.5 minute pace per mile and another at 9.5 to 10.0 minute pace per mile. There are several walkers that have a good pace. The workouts last 45 minutes to 1 hour.
