Wickham Park
Melbourne

Miles and miles of off-road trails. Great for running, walking and bike riding. There is also a 1.25 mile loop around the park on asphalt and a 5k course througout the park. From US1, turn on to Parkway Road heading towards Wickham Road. The Park will be on the right approximately 1 mile from US1.


Tropical Trail
Merritt Island

Beautiful scenic view of the Banana and Indian Rivers. Asphalt surface with lots of speed bumps to slow traffic. 5 miles out to Pineda Causeway and back for a 10 mile course. From Eau Gallie Causeway, turn left on South Patrick Drive. Turn left on South Tropical Trail. Parking immediately on the left at Oars and Paddles Park.


Rockledge Drive
Rockledge

Beautiful scenic course along the Indian River. (route of the Space Coast marathon) Starting in Cocoa Village at Riverfront Park, head south along Rockledge Drive for 6 miles to US1 and back for a 12 mile course. Cocoa village is located on the south side of State Road 520 (King Street) on the west side of the Hubert Humphrey Bridge.


Melbourne Causeway
Indialantic

Want some hill work. The causeways are basically the only hill workouts available. Beautiful view of the Indian River with a breeze most of the time. Turn left on Melbourne Causeway while heading south on US1. Turn right into Front Street Park (on the right approx. ½ mile after turning onto the causeway. Lots of parking and a small walk up to the causeway.


Patrick Air Force Base
On the Beach

Great workout especially at low tide. Beautiful early morning runs when the sun is just rising. Head east on Pineda Causeway to A1A. Turn north on A1A. There are several parks along A1A with lots of parking.


Turkey Creek Sanctuary
Palm Bay

Off-road trails with a 2 mile loop on the nature trail. From US1, turn west on Port Malabar Blvd, go 2 miles and turn left at the Turkey Creek sign at the Palm Bay Community Center.
